Answer lesson comments

In Comments, you see everything students write in the lessons, across all your courses, and you answer without opening each lesson.

Only for Online Course products

Comments only exist in Online Course products, and they start turned off. Turn them on product by product (step 2). The screen has the Experimental badge: it may still change.

On the Mentorfy screen, a student shows up as a client, in the Clients menu.

Step by step

  1. In the menu, open Clients › Comments.

At the top, the Total, Unread, and New Today cards sum things up.

  2. Open Comments Configuration by Product and turn on comments for the course.

On the same row, pick the Visibility and whether students can reply to each other (Student Replies).

  3. Find the comment in the list.

Filter by product, by Status (Unread or Read), and by Period, or search by student or text.

  4. Click the eye icon (View details).

It opens the full comment, the lesson, the product, and any replies that already exist.

  5. In Reply, write your answer and click Send reply.

The Reply sent successfully notice confirms it.

Common questions

My course doesn't show up in the configuration.

Only Online Course products show up. Mentorships of other types don't have comments in their lessons.

I'm on the team. Can I reply as the mentor?

Yes. For team members, the window shows a switch above the reply: off, you reply with your own name; on, the reply goes out with the name of the mentor who owns the account.

Where does the student see my reply?

In the lesson itself, next to the comment they made. They also get a notification saying there's a new reply to their comment, with a direct link to the lesson.
